A Farewell at Cuskelly House

This week saw Paul Cashen at Blackburn for a three day session of pastoral ongoing formation for Trieu Nguyen, Daniel Magadia and Hoa Tran.

And, on Thursday evening members of the Melbourne community gathered for a farewell meal for Trieu and Daniel.

They joined the MSC in 2019 at Blackburn with studies at YTU. Their Novitiate year was at St Mary’s Towers with Peter Harvey Jackson as Novice Master – during the covid year, 2020. On returning to Blackburn, they have completed Masters studies, worked in St Thomas Parish and various pastoral ministries for hospital visitation to prisons.

Trieu has taken up an appointment to Randwick parish, Daniel to the new Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish in Canberra.

Hoa will complete his Masters studies in June and receive an appointment.
