Should anyone wish to raise a concern or make a complaint of either a historical and/or contemporary abuse nature, the following pathways are available:
 

1. Contact the MSC Safeguarding Manager directly via email at safeguarding@misacor.org.au, or by telephone on (02) 9665 8999 or via the MSC website Complaints Form; or

2. Make a complaint to Australian Catholic Safeguarding Limited (ACSL) via email at complaints.response@acsltd.org.au or on 1300 603 411.
    

Such matters are also brought to the attention of the MSC Safeguarding Office in the following ways:
 

1. via the National Redress Scheme;

2. a report from a third party (such as the police, a Catholic State/Territory Professional Standards Office, an MSC School Principal, or a legal representative); or

3. via the commencement of a criminal or civil court proceeding.
    

Upon the receipt of allegations or concerns of abuse, the MSC Safeguarding Office may be required to report to various external statutory bodies across Australia. Such bodies might include the police, the relevant child protection authority, and relevant department via their Reportable Conduct Schemes or similar. The MSC may also be required to report matters to the relevant state Working with Children screening body, and to the Australian Catholic Ministry Register (ACMR).
