Brother Jim Leslie MSC died on March 8th at St Joseph's, Kensington. He died peacefully in his sleep.

Jim Leslie was born in 1917. He served overseas during World War II in North Africa, a 'rat of Tobruk'. He survived almost seventy years after these battles.

After the war, he joined the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. After some years at Croydon, then at Downlands and Chevalier, he was appointed to Kensington Monastery in 1959 where he remained until moving to Croydon in 1978. In 1990 he moved to St Mary's Towers, Douglas Park and then to St Joseph's. Jim suffered from ill health at various times but confreres joked with him that he would outlive them. And he did.

May he rest in peace.
